Book Review: Aria's Travelling Book Shop

Aria's Travelling Book Shop

Author: Rebecca Raisin

Publisher: Harper 360

⭐⭐⭐⭐

Aria’s Travelling Book Shop is the follow-up novel to Rosie's Travelling Tea Shop, and focuses on Aria's story. Aria has been living the van life since before the untimely death of her husband. Surrounded by her favorite things in life (books!), Aria travels around Europe with her best friend Rosie. Aria has sworn to never love another man again....but her attraction to Jonathan may just change that plan.

After previously reading and very much enjoying Rosie's story, I was thrilled to see that Rebecca Raisin wrote another novel from Aria's perspective. The descriptions of van life were just as fun as the first time around, and this book was another adventure. I found Aria's character to have a great amount of depth, and I was drawn into her story. Her struggle to move past the death of her husband was heartbreaking, especially as she read from his journal, and the reader can feel her conflicted emotions about falling for another man. Despite the heavy subject matter at times, there was still plenty of humor to go around. I'm having trouble deciding which book I liked more......maybe I'll continue to think about it over a good book and a cup of tea!

Thanks to Netgalley and Harper 360 for this ARC; this is my honest and voluntary review.
